Remember when we
held hands
Soaked in the
sunrays
Felt the sand as we
strolled
A breeze blowing
your hair
Revealing your
magnificent eyes
Remember when I held
you
Our eyes inches
apart
I swore in that
instant
I saw us roaming
free
Happy to be us
Remember when our
lips met
Sharing love
Stirred with emotion
Lost in the world of
us
Nothing else existed
Remember when you
shuddered
Intensity tingled my
skin
Drunk in your scent
Basking in the magic
We made together
Remember when the mist of
sadness
Soaked our bodies
Alerting us to the
inevitable
Circumstance do us
part
Amid sorrow's lonely
dance
Remember when I said things
change
Love must win the
battle
Hope is our
companion
For now I'll
remember
Our precious time
together

My favorite time in a relationship is where all the great moments don't just live in the past. When we get to the point of remembering when things were "good", that's when I know we have to work on making things better. <3 this poem.
