You crushed my heart and left me to die

An empty promise you made a lie

Told me you'd be forever true

Yet somehow I'm here without you

Come shake me out of this nightmare

Come show me you still care

Save my soul and shower me with light

Pull me out of hell's flames tonight

Like a dream you came into my life

We danced in rhythm like husband and wife

With you I flew and walked on air

Can't believe you don't really care

At least I know what hell feels like

Flames scorch skin with a hammer and spike

Never-ending screams expand the hole

Oh won't you please save my soul

Save my soul with your warm touch

The pain inside is like claws that clutch

Though some tell me to give time a chance

Can't help but know that we danced our last dance

The hurting will stop and the void will close

I will smile again though nobody knows

Every night I will pray to be made whole

Because an angel will come and save my soul

A Touch of Magic

You are the life-force that drives me

The reason why I strive for greatness

When I take a giant leap and fall short

You pick me up and dust me off

The light you shine upon me lingers

Even when darkness threatens to consume me

You are the source of my desires

The modest wand of beauty you wave

Holding me in a wondrous spell

Full of magic and joy unmatched

A constant reminder of love's power

A blessing till the end of days

You are the epitome of hope incarnate

With a smile that tames the wildest of beasts

A tender touch which soothes the restless soul

Your kisses turn rusted iron into gold

By your side the promise of tomorrow is pure

Ensuring that spring remains eternal

I bask in the glory of knowing that you exist

You are the life-force that fills me

The love you wield transcends time

It shall remain with me wherever I go

You are my life

And I am forever yours

Before you came along

Words didn't turn into song

In a crowd yet alone

Got used to being on my own

Like the radio was stuck

A sad dude without luck

Then one day I found you

Didn't know what to do

Words began to rhyme

Kept losing track of time

If you push play

What would they say

You came to say hi

Lovely lips so shy

The hug pushed play

Loneliness went away

In a crowd yet only saw you

I hadn't had a clue

Push my play button baby

Forgot about maybe

Just you and I together

Dancing sweetness forever

Never want it to end

Then you left again

Torture this mystical cause

Like my life was stuck in pause

Your voice lingered in dreams

Almost fell apart at the seams

But fate has its own mind

It's love together we find

Push my play button please

Put my mind at ease

Let's sing our songs together

Don't matter the weather

Through the cold or heat

Let's sway to passion's beat

Broken Valentine

I hold a cane

To explain the pain

Grimacing, panting

As if age is ranting

But truth be told

It’s not growing old

That bothers me

More an ache you can’t see

Staleness escapes my pores

A hollowed emptiness implores

By circumstance or chance

Keeps us from our dance

Can’t let on

It hurts that you’re gone

Come soothe me

Make us happy

Fits of laughter keep

A darkened soul so deep

Hiding from prying eyes

Drowning in a pool of lies

How much longer will this last?

Will it ever come to pass?

Be mine Valentine

Cut through sordid vines

Time is a heartless brute

Stomping on desire for truth

Allow love to bloom

Not like a bomb’s boom

But an angel’s choir

Filled with hungry desire

Until you’re set free

We’ll linger in misery

Love’s Desperate Embrace

Sun Girl

Didn’t let the darkness encase her

Light was her heart

Gentle beams cascaded on golden hair

Trickling down as she giggled

She exhaled daylight

Moon Boy

Sat ignored by stars

He searched for Sun Girl relentlessly

Sometimes he’d find her

Surrendering to love

Blinded by her fiery eyes

His passion reawakened by power

Yet fate kept them apart

Two worlds coexisting

In a wonderland of inevitable separation

Dreaming of her warm embrace

Hoping for a miracle

When she danced in daylight

He sulked through moon rays

Oh, how forbidden the fruits of day and night

For light and darkness were never meant to mix

They’re damned to stay apart

And may only rendezvous at dawn

When traces of desperation fade away

Flames flicker

Stinging wounded soul

Heavy heart gasps for breath

And I ask why

Fighting for survival

Refusing to die

In spite of confusing swirl

Still wondering why

Just a puppet

On a violent string

Intense heat lashing

So I scream why

Reach towards light

Quickly extinguished

By despairs choking smoke

Oh why oh why

Sharper than a double edge blade

Tears of blood

Adds to the misery

Please tell me why

Blanketed by despair

Swallowed by evil's abyss

Yet I refuse to lose

Want to know why

Though love can illuminate

It also brings pain

Must fight on till death

Can you see why

Cause I'm stubborn

Refuse to allow

Loves burning flames

Conceal the why

The answer

Because we are worth it

Our love is worth it

Sometimes I want to flash forward

To the part where we're together

To finally have you by my side

Our love will live forever

I know I'm a dreamer

Living someone else's life

Stuck in a world of loneliness

Like a ghost surrounded by strife

Pluck me out of this nightmare

Shower me with all your love

Kiss me a thousand times

Let's pray to the one above

Help me fight despair's grip

Brush away the fear that grows

Tear off the chains of the past

Eliminate all our woes

Your voice is like soothing waves

As if angels sing lullabies

Love's heavenly chorus rises

Until shattered by sad goodbyes

Must fight past the wonder

Will happiness be ours at last

Please Lord spring us forward

Let our union come fast

And if it should be decided

That time must have its way

Love's Prisoner

Love's Prisoner

Sometimes love doesn't knock on the door, 

But breaks it down.

And when it sweeps you away

Watch out!

Like in a vampire's embrace you become its willing captor.

Love hypnotizes you

Makes you do things you'd never thought possible

In a blink!

Love whips you into a frenzy 

And makes you beg for more

Before you know it

Nothing else matters

The soft caress, the all consuming gaze, the pitter patter heartbeat

Overtakes common sense 

And squeezes every drop out of you

Ah, to love with passion 

And be loved with fury is the ultimate sensation

There shouldn't be a question of why

Screw analysis!

Let love take you prisoner and see how you'll finally be alive!

Love me like I know you can

Come find me and take my hand

Guide our love beyond the stars

Let everyone see who we are

Love me for all it's worth

Ignite passion's fiery birth

Let's stop time you and me

Our loving embrace will set us free

Love me 'cause you know it's right

Just kiss me and hold me tight

Don't let go don't let us slip

Don't become a passing ship

Love me for who I am

Stop being a sacrificial lamb

Cut him loose and come with me

To the land where dreams can be

Steal Your Kiss

Go to bed, thinking of you

Wishing we'd be gripped in bliss.

I'm a thief, I know it's true.

Next time, I'll steal a kiss.

Careful plans, took their toll

Anticipation our hidden pain.

My love is what you stole

Yet you claim, I drive you insane.

Separated by miles of sea

Your smile, I do miss.

Will our union make us free?

Know this, I must steal your kiss.

Rain or sunshine makes no matter.

My goal is to hold you soon.

Let the butterflies scoot & scatter.

My caress will make you swoon.

What will you do, darling love?

Will you moan or will you hiss?

When I swoop from high above

And steal your tender kiss.

For now, I must dream and hope

That our love remains in bliss.

Terrible absence, we must cope

Until the night I steal your kiss.

Is worse than a bullet exploding

In your chest

You want to scream

Shout out and say

"I'm here! Why don't you show me!"

Love me for all I'm worth

I'm not a slave

I'm not trash

How am I supposed to stay in love

When you want, take, and drain me

I'm not a toy

I want so badly

To throw in the towel

Give up on love

But I know I shouldn't

Can't let you kill me

I'm not breakable

That's why I won't let you

Put me down again

Cause I have a secret

While you think it's all about you

I reach inside myself
