Stop the Bleeding

Stop the Bleeding
By Nomar Knight

Loneliness calls on misery
When I open my eyes
And realize you're not here

You didn't mean to hurt me
Still I ask fate why
Why can't I have you near

I bleed from every crevice
Each drop spilled takes
Another piece of my soul

Loving memories leave me breathless
No matter how much losing you aches
I won't let reality take its toll

Never-ending hope breathes on
For I refuse to give up on us
Can't allow myself to end this pleading

I sit up till dawn
Without making a fuss
Praying for you to stop the bleeding

Know this
These trying times
Are draining my soul
