Lifeless Soul by Nomar Knight

Lifeless Soul
By Nomar Knight

I'm a prisoner of my mind
No longer warm and kind
Darkness escapes my pores
Simple smile becomes a chore

The demons come from need
Gauging eyes until I bleed
Ripped my heart from my chest
Life's cruelest horror test

Play back old scenes of love
In search of peaceful doves
Black ravens caw and stare
And nobody seems to care

The end squeezes life dry
Never answering why
Nothing left but wait and die
While vultures circle dark sky

Sounds of hell hounds abound
Evil creatures surround
The final bill is due
Lifeless soul without a clue

Wait Till... by Nomar Knight

Wait till…
By Nomar Knight

Wait till they get a load of me.
They are blind fools you see.
While I hunt their vulnerable flock.
Letting them protect their stock.
It's the ninety-nine percent that goes.
Disappearing into the shadows.
Like fragile pieces of glass.
Family units out of gas.

Got to love technology at hand.
Distracts them like a marching band.
Too busy wasting their lives.
Living in monotonous hives.
While corporate greed steals their knees.
They fork up the extra fees.
Precious treasure slips through their grasp.
I squeeze every breath till the last gasp.

With morbid discovery comes shock and awe
Widened eyes and dropped jaws.
My masterpiece I gift to them.
Leave them guessing as to when.
Like frantic ants under attack.
They scatter about both front and back.
For death is pure certainty.
Wait till they get a load of me.

Fall Into My Darkness by Nomar Knight

FALL INTO MY DARKNESS
BY
NOMAR KNIGHT

Fall into my darkness and dare to live once more
Scream away the pain you hold in your core
Let me guide your soul through the abyss of love
Wash away tears as we soar up above

Fall into my darkness in eternal pleasure
Collectors of death and skull treasure
Abandon the chains of damnation
Passion will arm you with vengeful castration

Fall into my darkness and be free like me
Light's blinding glare collects its fee
Embrace the soothing moon and stars
Together we'll dance the world will be ours

Fall into my darkness and bask in our moans
We are more than just a collection of bones
With the world at your feet my goddess of night
Conquests-a-plenty with your forever dark Knight

Fractured by Nomar Knight

Fractured
By Nomar Knight

I smile to sell illusion
My laughter is all the rage
A mask hides confusion
Yet I'm stuck in a cage

Ready to keep busy
Maintain a quiet presence
Dark thoughts make me dizzy
Brought down by hard lessons

I'm fractured inside
And nobody cares
Feelings I do hide
So they don't all stare

Heart bleeds dry
Not like they notice
Can't see me cry
Got to maintain focus

I'm fractured inside
Yet I get up every day
Will the pain subside
Must be a better way

To hear her voice once more
Would mend these old bones
Fractured to the core
Always so alone

Each night I go to bed
With no one at my side
Soon I'll be dead
All fractured inside

Wipe it Away!

Wipe it Away!

By Nomar Knight

Wipe it away! Make sure to get it all.
Night becomes day. Mustn't take the fall.

Wipe! Wipe it away! The stains must come off.
Keep them at bay. Secrets revealed by a cough.

Wipe! Wipe! Wipe it away! Sweat mixes with blood.
Damn DNA. Don't be another dud.

Wipe! Wipe it away! They can't see what you've done.
Play another day. Go on a murderous run.

Wipe it away! Someone will come for you.
Maybe not today. Best stay out of view.

Darkness for me Tonight

Darkness For Me Tonight

By Nomar Knight

I've been practicing letting you go
Ever since we said hello
The warm embrace that replaced words
Hearts beating like a thunderous herd
Watched what could be
Turned into it can't be me
A cruel fate dealt us a blow
How to cope I don't know

Fly be free from my love
Let your wings stretch from high above
No hope no joy only despair
Must pretend we no longer care
For the halls of echoes will bleed
If we wallow in love's greed
So fly away my angelic light
Only darkness for me tonight

Only darkness for me tonight
With clipped wings I cannot fly
Only darkness for me tonight
Tomorrow the sun may shine
The myth that you were mine
Reveals true darkness not light
Only darkness for me tonight
Only darkness for me tonight

Whispering Secret by Nomar Knight

Whispering Secret
By Nomar Knight

I have a secret you know
Can't let anyone in though
It's not about monsters or violent fools
Nor floating ghosts over pools

To unlock my secrets you must be
Willing to give your all to me
Not like what a demon wants
Or the devil and his taunts

It's not a question of sex
Or falling under a hex
I'm as gentle as can be
With trusting eyes for all to see

Debonair is my name
Every girl's loving flame
Unlike those clueless boys
You loved to treat like toys

I am very sincere
In fact quite austere
No fancy digs to impress
Free of materials and stress

Only one thing I require
That it'd be me you admire
Scratch those guys off your list
Cause they no longer exist

You haven't seen them around
I know they're buried underground
Making your Eden well
Yes I'm the gardener from hell

Thief of Shadows by Nomar Knight

Thief of Shadows
By Nomar Knight

It came with blinding face and eyes of fire
Scolding breath over dead of night
Intense heat seared demon's choir
Evaporating songs of terrible plight

Talons of flames whipped across shades
Stealing dreams of purest pleasure
Tis it the messenger of Hades?
Devouring ill gotten treasure

Its mighty muscles it did flex
Scattering worries cross barren minds
With morning's dew it spread a hex
 Leaving turmoil of all kinds

Illumination stabbed morbid visions
Hidden in a vortex of confusion
In lion's gape flashed life's decisions
Dark shadows, slipped illusion

Like a silent thief it crept
Stirring waves of shame and blame
For the sinners Heaven wept
Screaming sorrows liquid flame

With every droplet of tears,
Weighed surrealistic expectations
Its cleansing rays cleared the fears,
Giving hope to all the nations

The sun sprayed soothing light
Caressing purple hues of sky
It cut sins through blackened night
Lifting souls who could not fly

So say fair well to the thief
Of shadows and inhibitions
Kneeling fast to the Chief
With the dawn, came new ambitions

It's Raining Tears Tonight by Nomar Knight

It's Raining Tears Tonight
By Nomar Knight

It's raining tears tonight
Soft wails swirl in doom's wake
Dead victims revealed by moonlight
Floods of endless heartache

It's raining tears tonight
A senseless random fire
Scorching corpses a frightful sight
Increasing the creature's ire

It's raining tears tonight
Pointless lives come to an end
Sinners crumble from mighty height
Human loss the terrible trend

It's raining tears tonight
Years of warnings unheeded
Slaughter their current plight
A new savior is needed

It's raining tears tonight
Trumpets flare with wings in air
A noose of nails squeezes tight
Wreaking havoc and despair

It's raining tears tonight
Infinite suffering for all to see
Enshrouded by endless night
Blood cascades from land to sea

A Soul Corrupted

A Soul Corrupted

By Nomar Knight

Anger can be a most useful emotion. Unfortunately, most people allow raw anger to turn into loathing. I’ve heard some people say that humans manifest their feelings about themselves when lashing out at others. Although this may be true, anger is best reserved for help with menial tasks such as prying open a stubborn lid on a jar. Carrying a grudge is indeed like swallowing something toxic and expecting the object of their anger to die as if that person were drinking the tainted blood coursing through their veins. Inevitably, when the fuming tyrant realizes what’s boiling in their insides does not affect their target, another sliver of the angry soul burns off and permeates into the mountain of unnecessary despair.
As luck would have it, there are numerous ways to burn up the toxic emotion and use it for good instead of evil. One way is to start an exercise program. A good couple mile run can do wonders in redirecting the draining emotion. However, if you prefer exercising the brain over fine tuning the body, then a great way to use anger is through imaginary characters. Through writing, one can exact vengeance in a way that would not permit the aggressor to be thrown in jail. In reality, I’ve read news reports where mugging victims that reacted with anger got injured or killed. I say True Death would be extremely counterproductive.
Now, for those stubborn wannabe vigilantes reading this, if you insist on staying angry, then perhaps a quiet way to let out your dark side is to be knighted into the realm of witchcraft. No, I’m kidding of course. Not everyone can possess my powers. Not everyone can call upon the forces of vengeance from the supernatural realm and meat out a fitting punishment. Don’t worry. I haven’t killed any characters in at least a month.
At any rate, if you take one thing away from this blog entry is that anger is indeed a wasted emotion that would be best channeled into something productive.
By the way, if you really want to get even, then smile at your enemy and forgive them. You may catch them off guard and release the poison from your soul once and for all.

Catch you on the Dark Side!

The Bowels of Darkness

Here's my poetic offering for All Hallow's Eve. (Previously published in SNM Horror Magazine)

The Bowels of Darkness
By Nomar Knight

From the bowels of darkness I came
Looking for my kind of treasure
Wasn't there to play foolish games
Or fulfill your sordid pleasure

Though your smooth flesh was enticing
And your warm eyes a delight
Licking sweat off your brow like icing
No doubt my lust would ignite

But purpose filled my need
So I ventured in the light
Your pale skin had to bleed
No use to struggle or fight

You winced and gagged at my breath
And spat vulgar words of hate
What you smelled was your death
A doomed reality your fate

Tainted soul ventured with me
Into the bleakest of holes
No longer could you see
Your blemishes and moles

Futile cries filled the void
Like razors cutting skin
Deception you employed
Revealed a black heart of sin

In my abyss your screams are harmless
So thrash and flail with all your might
Welcome to the bowels of darkness
Where forever is trapped in fright

Blowback

Blowback
By Nomar Knight

I strut amidst chaotic mess
Intense heat extinguishing my concerns
Agents of destruction scurry
Cries of pain bring me glee

Now the one percent have less
Their giant monuments burn
Inside the rubble are buried
Secrets and lies rot beneath

As the masses watch in awe
I search to even the score
For evil's regenerative powers
Maintain a tireless grip

Perhaps now they'll see their flaws
And open opportunity's door
Life should smell like flowers
And be one happy trip

But I if they should learn nothing
And continue along merciless ways
I'll show them my version of something
Make them beg for end of days

Goodbye with Style by Bernadette Marie

Goodbye with Style

by Bernadette Marie

I grab the blade, I deeply press
Along my arm, in red, I dress;
So warm it flows, and drips like lace....
Distinctive smell, metallic taste.

So quickly does my dark mood lift-
I dream of stars as my mind does drift.
Sleepy now, and my lips do smile,
As life is slipping away all the while.

Oh, what a shame, the pearls, blood-stained...
And as they say, aren't easily gained.
But the flowers, though fresh;
Still smell like death,
And my beautiful corpse has champagne breath.

Bury Me In A Prado by Biola Olatunde

Welcome today's guest blogger~ Biola Olatunde. She has a knack for educating others through her amazing poetry. Please enjoy.

BURY ME IN A PRADO
by Biola Olatunde

He was only seventeen
He wanted a Prado jeep
to contest with his peers
from the other side of the street.

To the darkness bound; he went
and he whimpered his greed
that they may offer a path
to strengthen his greed

He stole a twin
and brought entwined
to his soul
a journey of fate
that will snare his faith
In the loom of life

The strangled cry of the twin;
the agonized torture of a mother
the fearful haunting
the beheaded grimace of innocence
as silent witness
tore his sleep to pieces

The Baba’s bloody hands
could not silence his sleep
the twin’s cries of despair
from murdered innocence
and maternal agony
by seconds brought him
back to the field of blood
where he had sold his soul
to purchase a Prado jeep

Now at his guilty leisure
to the stern looks of justice
he revises his need
to obtain without sweat
the judge’s cold verdict
came like cold relief
from the terror of his dreams
from the tiny watching eyes
he had buried four feet upright by the stream

That which can only be earned
by honest day’s sweat
as the hammer fell on his life
and the black robed justice wrote
a whispered longing escaped
his parched cracked lips
one more last request
bury me in a Prado jeep!

They buried him in a Prado grave
six feet standing upright
next to the tiny staring eyes
by the stream
of his warped dreams!

When Darkness Comes

When Darkness Comes
By Nomar Knight

Laughter dies at sundown
Leaves rustle around
A quiet celebration drums
When darkness comes
Amidst the drool and grime
Evil relishes its time
In a starless night
Lurks the thief of light

Creatures rise from tombs
Apocalyptic winds loom
Talons replace thumbs
When darkness comes
With hunger in their eyes
Someone always dies
Faced with flee or fight
Fear adds to their plight

No use being brave
When it's blood they crave
Havens become slums
When darkness comes
For when they smell prey
Doesn't pay to stay
Nothing is alright
Must survive till light

Hurry run and win
Darkness can't hide sin
Forget the shakes and runs
When darkness comes
Too late to show remorse
Have to stay the course
Mustn't lose sight
Death will make things right

Next time make sure
Who you kill is pure
Immortals hide as bums
When darkness comes
True evil never dies
Don't believe the lies
Must survive the night
Or never again see light

A High Octane Ride: Bipedal by Yvonne Bishop

A High Octane Ride: Bipedal by Yvonne Bishop

What would you do if in the midst of a terrible accident, your victim changes your life forever?  What if everything you believed in is shattered and another world overwhelms you to the point, you’ll never be the same again?  That’s what Yvonne Bishop’s protagonist, Phoenix, is forced to contend with at such blazing speed that she has no time to escape her bizarre reality.
Bishop spins a tale of nonstop action, barely giving the reader a chance to breathe.  Her sexy scenes don’t disappoint.  If you like werewolves, don’t pass this one up.
Bipedal is well written and edited, but I took issue with the fact there wasn’t time to pause.  I was forced to remain dirty a little longer, to starve a little longer, and to read with my eyes turning yellow (hint: bathroom break) for I did not want to put the book down  While I’m complaining, I may as well warn you that there’s some gore, but it flows so fast, it doesn’t deter from the reading.  My biggest gripe, I would have preferred chapters instead of one supersonic ride.  Of course, this book is short which adds another problem for me.  Yvonne Bishop’s talents need to be showcased in a longer work.
Nevertheless, Bipedal is a good read at a great price.  Overall, this is a solid debut for the author.  I look forward to reading her next book.

Knight Chills rates Bipedal 5 out of 5 Kills

Screams in the Night

Screams in the Night
By Nomar Knight

Waiting for an axe to fall
Sweat my sole companion
Suspicious whispers roamed the hall
Trapped in hell's canyon

Gripped mildewed walls
While I slid with trepidation
Black widows heeded call
Prompting my hesitation

But when whispers changed their tune
My heart pumped out of rhythm
As if crawling over wicked dunes
Couldn't let her be a victim

Screeching screams in the night
Inflated all lust for life
Had to make things right
Smashing door to save my wife

Deceit my eyes did see
For my maiden jumped with pleasure
She reached the O without me
Sacred spot ruined treasure

Pathetic pleas plastered in silence
Lost amidst orgasmic screams
Wicked wife took evil's guidance
Shattering all my hopes and dreams

With maddening fury I struck
A blow flashing righteous light
My sword sealed their luck
Forever joined by treacherous plight

Paid the devil his rent
A noose gripped deadly tight
Terrible sounds could not relent
Sordid screams reached new height

Not even hell's burning light
Could shut out despicable sight
Gripped reigns of fire tight
Haunted by screams in the night
